Why I started my Photography Business

Fancy meeting you here! I am Brandi, a mama of 5 and a step mama of 4 (9 total) I know My Husband Guy and I are a little cray cray we heard. lol So, after going through life and putting my family and children always first, I never finished college to become what i thought i was meant to be a Nurse. I have done CNA work for most of my life, when i opened a Home Daycare Business after my 3rd baby. After trying to go back to school repeatedly and it not working out with my Schedule, kids, home life. I just gave up on the dream. After I met my Husband in 2008 and he supported any decision I wanted to accoplish. (Thank you God for putting him in our life) So any dream was available at that point. I thought about opening a new daycare, going back to school for medical office, and then just thinking i was always going to be a stay at home mom, gardening, camping, diaper changing, cooking, midnight baking..... I had a epiphany and realized My REAL life dream was to be a Photographer. I decided to start slowly after the birth of our 9th child my #5 Birth, we had just loss the twin of his and that would make a loss of 3 babies. Talk about heartache. I decided to pour my heart and soul into learning about the craft of Photography, workshops, books , videos, reading , reading and more reading lol . The best way was to get out there and start shooting, taking pictures a lot of free work to help me learn. Now 4 years later, I have mastered my style, my craft and what i love to take pictures of; People mostly. I have a newly found love for Birth Photography, Just Born 24 hours, and Weddings. I love couples, family, children, babies.... and even the occasional pet hahaha. Laughing is my best method of relaxing and making you feel comfortable is key. I want your experience to feel original, laid back and normal so to speak. The last thing we want is uncomfortable looking pictures. Natural Outdoor light....Golden Hour anyone? oooooh I can not express how beautiful it is under the right circumstances and timing. This is always a learning progress, to be able to grow. I am forever grateful for all the support I have and love from Family, Friends and the Community. I also just recently, completed another dream of mine and it was to be a EMT and I can finally say I did it! with a lot of hard work, nothing is easy. The Photography Business is very competitive, I am not trying to get rich, I just want to take alot of gorgeous, memorable Photos! I hope that I can take Pictures for you one day , and be part of your special moments.
Plus, my indoor studio Blush Forevermore, is almost finished!!!!
